It was pretty crazy that Ramin Karimloo (Phantom in the 25th Anniversary, who I've met twice) was right across the street in Les Miserables. <3
We got into the city, had lunch at Tir Na Nog (amazing irish place that also has a location in Baltimore) before going to the show.
After the show, Mike and I waited outside the stage door to get pictures and autographs from them. The first person I met was Jeremy Hayes (Raul) and managed to get his signature.
However, after waiting 30-45 mins for Norm and Sierra, we all got news that they would not be coming out until after the night show and I couldn't stay that long unfortunately because we had to travel back to Maryland because I had to work today.
When we decided to walk away, we passed the Golden Theater when Mike pointed out that he saw Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick walking away from us, crossing the street!
I quickly ran up to them and even though I was completely star struck due to the unexpected moment, I tried to be as respectful as I could in asking for a picture. Nathan Lane seemed a little annoyed because I think they were going to try to get something to eat before their show and didn't really want to be bothered. But I asked anyway, because what could it hurt, right?
Well, they stopped and took a quick picture with me and it was really nice. I was so happy to have briefly met them!
On the way home, we stopped at Houlihan's for a late dinner before driving back down to Maryland.
Such a wonderful day! :-)
