Lightning Storm!

Check out this picture I managed to capture last night, during a storm that was hanging around my neighborhood!
Gotta love a huge lightning tree in the sky!

Post Phantom --- Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick!

SoOoOo... Phantom was amazing. I was so honored to see history being made while watching Norm Lewis as Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine. She has been one of my Broadway Idols for a long time.
It was pretty crazy that Ramin Karimloo (Phantom in the 25th Anniversary, who I've met twice) was right across the street in Les Miserables. <3
We got into the city, had lunch at Tir Na Nog (amazing irish place that also has a location in Baltimore) before going to the show.

After the show, Mike and I waited outside the stage door to get pictures and autographs from them. The first person I met was Jeremy Hayes (Raul) and managed to get his signature. 
However, after waiting 30-45 mins for Norm and Sierra, we all got news that they would not be coming out until after the night show and I couldn't stay that long unfortunately because we had to travel back to Maryland because I had to work today.

When we decided to walk away, we passed the Golden Theater when Mike pointed out that he saw Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick walking away from us, crossing the street!
I quickly ran up to them and even though I was completely star struck due to the unexpected moment, I tried to be as respectful as I could in asking for a picture. Nathan Lane seemed a little annoyed because I think they were going to try to get something to eat before their show and didn't really want to be bothered. But I asked anyway, because what could it hurt, right?
Well, they stopped and took a quick picture with me and it was really nice. I was so happy to have briefly met them!

On the way home, we stopped at Houlihan's for a late dinner before driving back down to Maryland.
Such a wonderful day! :-)

 

Phantom of the Opera!

Hey All!

Hope everyone is doing well!
I am so very excited to be going to see Phantom of the Opera in NYC tomorrow! I have loved the music and own the 25th anniversary DVD starring my favorites, Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo but I have yet to see it live!
I had gotten the opportunity to meet Sierra about 5 years ago when I saw her perform in The Little Mermaid on Broadway, as well as Norm Lewis who played King Triton at the time.
I am so honored to be going to see Norm Lewis as the first African American Phantom!
It's going to be amazing!

If you are not familiar with this show, I HIGHLY recommend it!

I went down to the Jersey Shore this past weekend to celebrate the birthday of my niece, Tabitha!
I wokeu p extra early on Saturday and took these pictures of the sunrise over the ocean from Long Branch, NJ at Pier Village.
I love it there and try to get pictures when I can.

My journey into the third and final book...

Hey all!

So, I have the general outline for book three, however before I really dive into the final book in this story, I have begun some research on some very interesting information and how Heaven is going to appear in the book, how the end will happen (if it will happen at all?) and what Amanda will discover about what she was destined to do and why she is meant to exist in the first place.

Amanda is going to find out information that not many know of because of the distortion and game of telephone after so many years into the history of the Bible and what is bound to happen to the Earth.
I cannot wait to share it with you but it will take time to make sure I get so many things right and where they should be in the story. 

In the meantime, build up the story yourselves!
Share Immortal Sin/Descent with your friends, family and whomever may be interested in this unique story!

I will continue to share updates with you as I go along!

1. What made you want to start writing?

I had always been involved in creative writing since I was young. I loved writing poems, lyrics and short stories in my free time or for school.
After a while, I also developed a passion for reading and after having a personal confrontation with one of my favorite authors, it really inspired me to take move forward with an idea I had and thus became The Immortal Sin Trilogy.

2. What are you currently working on?

I am currently working on the third and final installment to The Immortal Sin Trilogy.

3. Who are some of your inspirations?

I have quite of few who I admire and who’s work I love. Some of my inspirations are Elizabeth Chandler, Becca Fitzpatrick, Alexandra Adornetto, Stephanie Evanovich, Nicholas Sparks and the list could go on and on.

4. How did you get the idea for your latest book?

Well, my latest book is connected to the trilogy I have/am writing. The idea for The Immortal Sin Trilogy stems from my love for paranormal and specifically Angels and Demons. After reading so many books about this topic, I wondered what it would be like if an Angel and Demon came together and created something that has never really been considered before. Then my imagination just took off with it while incorporating experiences and emotions that I have experienced firsthand. So, this trilogy is very personal to me.

5. If your latest book was a movie, which actors would you see playing your main characters?

I am a huge movie person so there are many actors I would consider for the parts in my book.  Here are some actors I have considered:

Grey Damon, Taylor Lautner, or Jensen Ackles would be a potential Mitch/Malicious.

Evan Rachel Wood or Lauren Cohan as Amanda Chaste

Amanda Seyfried as Alexia Bellamy

Blythe Danner as Nan (Glory)

Chris Evans as Gregg

Meghan Ory as Ravish

Liam Hemsworth as Luca

6. What is the process of writing a book like?

It requires a lot of time and patience; a lot of analyzing and detailing. It’s best to commit as much as you can to it in order to complete a story that you are trying so delicately to assemble. It’s fun despite the hard work and long hours spent on putting the pieces together because you can let your imagination run wild.

7. Is your latest book going to be part of a series? Or are you looking at something completely new for your next book?

Yes, the latest book I’m working on is the last in my trilogy. I have plenty of new ideas I have been considering for a completely new series. However, I’m definitely sticking to paranormal, without a doubt. Stay tuned!

8. Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what kinds of music? Or do you need quiet?

I find it best to write in silence. It makes it easier for me to concentrate and fully submerse myself into this world I am creating on paper. I use music to give me some inspiration behind the things I write.

9. What is your favorite genre to read/write?

Paranormal/Romance/Mystery/Inspirational

All of the above to read and write.
